Got the armrest installed today....

So I ordered an armrest off ebay (90$ shipped) Brand new and all that jazz.

Got it in a couple days ago and installed it but my cameras been dead till now haha

Anyway here's the pic:

Took MAYBE 5 minutes to install, definitely worth it.

Note to any SS owner, get an armrest.

Another note: The e-brake is a bitch with an armrest. But the fact that you have an armrest takes the cake.

Um... Maybe an SS is different but getting my e-brake to let go is more of a hassle with the armrest down...

I don't c the need to yank it up all the way. I'm always in first and I just stop the break when it touches the armrest. My friend feels the need to pull ALL THE WAY UP when I let him drive

because just half ass putting the ebrake on does nothing, no point of even putting it on, especially on hills.

Only one time the break wouldn't hold, but that's why I'm always in first too

This was the first thing i got on my car. I got it from the dealer for the same price as ebay. With my auto start i have to have the car in neutral and have the e-brake on but the arm rest doesn't get in the way for me...

My armrest barely rests on the brake. All the way up is 2 more clicks and then it's a bitch to release

I definitely need to invest in one of these darn arm rests. Is that UFC glove to prevent people from breaking in to your car? "Oh damn this guy is a cage fighter, better not steal from him."

You have to pop off your rear cupholders, then the part around the ebrake, take off the ebrake handle, then you have a support plate that you jam down into the inside of the center console, put in 4 bolts, snap the armrest to the plate, put in 2 more bolts, then put your console back together and your done. theres a good how to on here actually, but you really won't need it, its self explainitory after you get the cupholders off.

I definitely reccomend it. and haha no, those are just my spar gloves anyway, but I train in muay thai, kickboxing, and jhi jhitsu (still can't spell that one right haha) Gloves are just there because I took these right before I went in the gym haha
