well this pretty much settles it, im going to get this game haha.

does it have a legitimate drifting session to it? or is it just regular race and you can somewhat makeshift drift if you want

 

smoke on the nascar wreck is all wrong. i love that F40 but dammit does it **** me off in game with its bogged launches. i think i had tc on or something thats the only explanation i will accept.

 

Am not fully into the game but i've only seen drift in arcade mode

Ummmm... Forza's graphics are not as detailed in race as GT5's are, you know this right?

but to compare the photos to actual gameplay is asinine at best.....\

please excuse the bad taste i have from sony as I bought the ps3 2 years ago when they said this game was coming out....i sold it a month ago and then found out a week later it was actually being released....im a bit pissed that it was put off so long.

 

Alright, was just checking. No it doesn't look that great in race. I did just notice that my cars get dirty when I hit dirt spots though.


I think it's wierd how GT5 has all the effects increase as you level up.

Yeah it was a long wait. Luckily I was not a die hard GT fan, I never played the previous games so I'm really loving this game much more then most other people that waited forever.

 

I don't know the first thing about shutter speeds and photo editing, but here are a few "point and shoot" pictures I took of my Miata. Only things done to it are the full customizable coilovers, BBS RS's and the camber is set @ -3.5F/-5R

Just picked up a 58" Panasonic Plasma 3D. Best picture out hands down out of any TV Iv ever seen. 5,000,000:1 aspect ratio 3D here I come. Can't wait to see this game in 3D.

 

the Panasonic 3d's are amazing. they kicked the crap out of the samsungs we were selling a couple months ago. but the Panasonic's we sold didn't up convert to 3d whereas the samsung's did. it was sweet playing xbox in 3d at work on the samsungs tho. artificial graphics convert into 3D really well

They're great looking no doubt, you can see the in-game ones and the ones rendered for screen shots, like the red Ferrari Italia and the Lotus Exige. I love the detail in GT5 but for some reason I just don't like it, maybe its the physics, or the tiny, light PS3 controllers lol.
