dont like how pathetic you look when a mature gto owner shows up?
and its not brown nosing.
its called being polite, and welcoming a fellow car enthusiast to the forum.
you should try it sometime.

doing vegas on the 6th...supposed to be 50-60 degrees that night....got the fingers crossed...good track, good air, maybe 11.9s?
You should be able to get 12.0 easly. Remember LACR IS really shitty.

Well that day it was 110* and at 2700 feet. My best time over there was 15.5 that day. If you correct that on DA it should be mid 14's and thats good for a stock cobalt at LACR. Its the traction that kills LACR times. Oh and just altitude correction is 15 flat.
dude... im from alberta.. our DA is usually around 3500 and well stock we run about a 15.2...
by the look of those numbers thats the calculation for an n/a car....
remember, if your F/I, the altitude correction factors are about half that of an n/a....
we are affected far less by air density, as we create our own atmosphere

I suppose it depends on the blow off valves design....
like is 7.5 lbs where it cuts off or is it shut at 7.5 and looking to swallow more?
because cool air does make a HUGE difference in my performance.
The computer pulls so much timing at higher temps
nah its not completely independant, but the affect caused by air density on an engine, is reduced by compressing the air.

this is a great little table that separates them for ya.
5500ft
N/A .9315 1.0731
F/I .9720 1.0265
12.7 @ 108 becomes
11.8 @ 115 for a mildly modded N/A
but only 12.3@110 for a modded F/I
