Happens to the best of us

EVO wipes out into two cars that were parked about to go back on the track.

Thing is, now people dont want pics and vid on the internet cause the two guys (nsx and g35) are trying to claim it on their insurance when insurance doesnt cover track events.

this is what a dude was there said...
just got back last night from a two day track event at Pocono raceways East course. There were three other Loti there over the course of the two days.
At the end of the second day the various run groups were completing their final sessions. The last two run groups to run were the Novice and Intermediate I which were actually running together but split into groups A and B.

While group A was on track and nearing the end of their session group B was lined up in the pit lane staged to enter the track as group A exited. With a few minutes left to go a hot foot in a EVO puts two wheels off as he rounds the last left hand turn onto the front straight which is parallel with the pit lane. As he tries to get the car bck onto the pavement, he over corrects and crosses to the infield (left) side of the track and go four wheels off, not addmitting defeat he stays with it and comes back onto the front staight (sideways) and proceeds to go straight across the track (right), across a grass median and into the pit lane, plowing into an Infinity G35 and an Acura NSX which were staging!!!
This same guy had spun off track at least two times prior during the day. I don't know why they were even letting him out there. Most outfits I've run with will have a talk with you after the first spin and end your day if it happens again.

Wow...that G35 looks like it got off easy compared to the NSX. I hope the dude in the EVO has life insurance . . . he's gonna need it.

G35 is a write off. There is major damage there. The NSX will be expensive too because it is all aluminum for the most part.

I'd hate to be that Evo idiot!

That G35 has more damage than it appears. Trunk lid assembly, probably the entire interior on the driverside, door, rocker panel, glass in door, front and rear body panels, and probably the driverside floor board by looking at the damage to the rocker panel. By the looks of it the rear wheel might have taken some impact, so there could be driveline/suspension damage.

So pretty much a new body and possibly driveline/suspension components.

G35 has frame damage. Look at the way the trunk lid is sitting. There are wrinkles through almost every panel on the driver's side! There is way more there than just a new door and rocker panel. The frame rail is possibly bent.

actually insurance can be claimed at the track. the only thing is you have to say the vehicle is used for recreational purposes. the insurance will be quite a bit higher but it can be covered. by the way i think i wouldnt be able to claim it id be in jail....

I think so too. Just from the stuff I listed before, that should be sufficient enough to total the car.
