Well im sure most of you have seen the style wheel i did a how to on over a year ago. The stock wheels with black spokes with the bare aluminum lip. After getting my hands on another set of wheels i did the same thing to them, but took it a step (a huge one though) further. Ill let the pics do the talking...

and yes they are for sale. PM me your price, do not ask me what i want for them. I prefer to work off of your offer

ive never been a fan of polished rims myself, but those are a way nicer shine than the stock "polished" rims.

i first started out with 100 i believe to get the deep scratches out. The big step is to go to town with the 220 until you get all the little box looking grooves out, and if you go far enough you can get the vertical running grooves out for the most part. Then get some 600 and smooth everything out. Next, get 1000 grit and smooth everything out again. After this it will look quite good, but nothing like they look in the pics. The amazing (literally, i was speechless) is to get some mothers aluminum mag polish and rub it in. They will look like the pics then.

The most important step is the 220, make sure you get close to the spokes. I was runnign the sandpaper from side to side, not top to bottom, and I think my way will yield less noticeable scratches in the end.

I used O'Reilly's 3m sandpaper they keep in the back because it is 10 times cheaper than the stuff out front. Just ask for the sheets from the back. You will need approximately 3-4 sheets of each grit. Get a sqray bottle and put dish soap and water in it. Spray on the lip while you sand to keep everything going smoothly. I wiped all the metal shavings off in between grits. Let me know how they look (or just buy mine).
