Home Depot Lip
Did my home depot lip today on the neon..came out really good..tested it out at 150mph and held in place perfectly fine..for 15 bux total with tape and 9ft roll of garage door weather stripping,not a bad ghetto mod

ill get more day time pics..thats the car sitting in the garage freshly waxed with turbowax

looks nice if you do it right...

mine had gaps where you could see the tape and was mounted too far back in some places...

half of it just ripped off though as I hit a semi tire a couple days ago

i put one of these lips on my Legacy. for 10 bucks you can't go wrong, no chipping or cracking. carbon lips for the subie are like $400 + and most people complain abot the cracking and chipping so its not worth the money.

i've seen people paint them and it looks great but it won't last due to the flex in the rubber.

i'm curious how you guys mounted them so cleanly without any tape or anything showing...

my tape is behind the lip on the front bumper itself...i used black tape so it isnt that visiable

The "mesh" you are talking about came factory on the Srt..he is talking about the ghetto lip.
