There now no *******'s have to say what you already know. I think the rims look great man! good painting skillz. get a silver vinyl for the chevy logo IMO.

I totally agree

Get that in silver. It gives the wheels some perceived depth. Would look amazing.

its not gonna chip ne easier than the paint on the car. i made sure i got a good rough surface to paint on and i clear coated it. and i put extra hardener in the clear coat. i seriously doubt its gonna chip at all unless some ****** bolder hits it. i painted my last rims and didnt put a clear coat on them at all and they nvr chipped and i had them painted like tht for about a year.

yeah i got a gun and a badass 5.5hp air compressor. my neighbor used to paint cars so he told me how to do it. and i went out and spent the money on good paint. so it will last and good clear coat and hardener so its really hard to chip the paint.

Looks good, I sprayed mine in a booth almost 2 years ago, and I have areas of exposed gunmetal

Still no bubbling, cracking, yadda yadda

dude if ur seeing gunmetal under ur paint then that means they didnt sand ur wheel good enough b4 they painted it. if they sanded it at all. u should just see an aluminum look. cause my old wheels were gunmetal and i sanded them down b4 i painted them to where u couldnt tell that they were even gunmetal.

No dude, you misread,,, or I mispoke. Look at my sig.

I was stating that I intentionally left areas of the original gunmetal exposed, and. I only painted the face of the rim and the thin lip all around, leaving the majority of the lip and the sides of the spokes exposed.

My point being that if any paint job would be prone to cracking and bubbling, it would be mine, as I didn't just paint bomb the whole wheel. The areas where the paint edges up to the exposed Gunmetal I was worried about cracking, but 2 years later they are still perfect. B ut I used a pro quality clear when I sprayed mine.

You see?

Quality job no doubt about it. Just not a fan of them painted all black for some reason. Pics of it without them painted?

That silver sticker will definitely help.
