They look nice with a little drop and stretch. And aftermarket pipes. But yes they are fast as hell.

I'll probly never lower or stretch it. IMHO that's a the fastest way to ruin a good bike. But some pipes and a tune will get me near 200whp

Personally I think it is ugly. But, it doesn't mater how it looks when you yank the throttle.

It's a cheap EBAY fairings kit. It came with the Monster graphics on it. I'm not a big fan of it, but, it's better than busted OEM stuff. As far as my time I am a bit on the slow side. I only have 4 runs with the bike under my belt and I plan to see 10.2-10.3 @ 145 before the season it over stock. But, with my weight I'd be surprised to get much faster. Next year with a few tweeks 9's should be easy.

Its not just that i used to own a 86 ninja 900 like 15 years ago and put them next to each other and they look the same except the front. Just think they could of gave it more style but it is set up more for cruising.

the busa is a better setup for drag racing. stronger trans, case, frame.

Truthfully you can't get them near the price I got this at. And, I've lined up with modded ones with more experienced riders at the track that trap slower than my stock bike.

Unlikely with my weight, but possible in perfect conditions.

Says the guys with "some interior painted parts" in his mods list.......

There is a near stock motor, stock length 14 who frequents the track and runs high 8's. Ive never seen a busa do that. The platform is near equal from what I've personally seen. EX: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gL01dC3SAB8

Nice bike, congrats on the ride and the time, some time under belt and practice you'll be in 9's no problem.

As someone mentioned about Honda's running faster, what mods do they have, friend of mine with an R6, I know it's not a Honda, is running mid 10's. Lots of bolt on parts and track time under her belt though

Exactly. You look cool until the road turns and you get passed by a homo on a Vespa.

LoL. What about on/off ramps and fast backroad action? I can see the sissy strips on your tires in the pics. I hang ass and drop knee on the 14. It's not something you can do with an extended bike, especially one with a wide tire.
