Dude, your better off getting the ticket... they catch you with that thing and they will ticket you for all kinds of crap and confiscate it. And I am pretty sure that if they target you and you dont show a reading.... they will pull you over and search you

You think? hmm... because i was looking at the website and read the testimonials and people were saying they would slow down to the posted speed limit then turn the unit off and the cop could get the reading.

Legal
There are no federal laws in the U.S.A. that prohibit the ownership and/or operation of laser jammers.
However, some states have enacted their own laws that do prohibit the ownership and/or use of these devices. These states include: Nebraska, Minnesota, Utah, California, Oklahoma, Virginia, Colorado, Illinois and Washington DC.

I donno... possibly obstruction of justice?
Does the unit act as a notifier as well? If that is the case then it might be worth while. Look into it more.
Not to say I dont believe you, but I can't imagine catching less crap for a radar detector than you would for something that actually BLOCKS police equipment.

Most of the really high end radar/laser detectors or jammers have sensors placed in the front and rear of the car under the body or inconspicuously placed. Then the unit the sensors connect to is supposed to be mounted in a hidden place like a glove box or under the dash. It beeps or whatnot to let you know what's up but that way the popos don't know you have it.
EDIT: victory red ss already beat me to it
