It's been a while. I guess I should do some updating.

Picked up a 2012 Dodge Ram Lonestar Edition with the 5.7 Hemi in it. I've had it for 2 weeks now and I love it. It has the 3.92 gear ratio. I have done the airbox mod and it helped some. We are having kiddo number 4 in May, so we need one other larger vehicle and I need it for work.

Thanks! The aftermarket game is strong with this truck. If I can just get it back from the dealership. It went in last week to have the seat belt fixed, and they assured me by Friday, that I would have it back, then today, and now Thursday.

Time to do some updating. I gave her a really good paint correction, and then the appearance bug bit me.

Then the calipers suddenly looked bad... Not really, but they needed some paint.

Once this happened they emblems were just too much and had been too much since day one so off they came.
Off with the lonestar edition badge:

To get to this point, it took me 3 hours, it was a mess getting the 3m tape off. So I ran the hemi badge only for another night.

I also gave the flex some love too:

Then Sunday I finished the debadging and then added a set of hemi emblems to the cowl hood!

Hopefully tomorrow I can clean her up and take better final pics. Its been raining since Sunday.

We love ours! I bought it used a year ago...25k miles Ford Certified. My only gripe is...it's the 3.5 v6 and there's no nav. After doing more research of course after I bought it I realized that the 2013 and newer models are better in just about every way. It's been a good ride for us so far...we don't drive it a lot. The extra room is nice when hauling all three of kids around. Only things I've done is swap all the interior bulbs for LED's, H&R springs and the Crager S/S wheels.

Needs moar ecoboost, but the 3.5 isnt a bad choice. Lots of potential. I did a muffler delete and turned the boost up on ours. We have put almost 25k on ours and it runs like a champ. It will catch a lot of people sleeping.
