Koni rear and Progress sway bar installed...PICS!!!!

I know its no big deal but i just installed my rear koni's and Progress rear sway bar......

Didnt know if this needed to go in pics or suspension since its both......

It wasnt as tough as I thoought. Having an impact gun sure helps also.....

I used the jack to help me with the install, was having a hard time before using it..

Basically just used it as its used when changing springs. Heres a better pic to show anyone interested in getting an idea of how its installed...

You can see here where the ends of the sway bar go. The lit comes with nut plates also that you have to slide in right under the springs in a small slot

oh and heres the koni's i purchased from a member here....
You can also see some shot of the koni's in the above pics//

Havent had a feel for them yet but will probably do so on monday

Well, thats it. Next up is my complete exhaust install. Just have to get some gaskets for the cat back. Also will be purchasing a cf trunk from CA, They gave me a killer deal on it..

Thanks for looking

ull notice a big difference, side to side and also going straight when you hit bumps, the recovery after the bump will be quicker. youll be happy.

I went to auto zone and showed them the used gasket I had, told em I needed two gaskets and they gave me some that were a little too big or a little too small. Do you think that matters? Maybe just the smaller ones and sand the hole a bit larger?

I just wanna make you happy Joe.

That must be on the soft setting because if I end up getting I want them to be stiff for hard cornering.

If they are too big just trim them. Aslong as the holes for the bolts line up. When I put my magnaflow on I just re-used my stock gaskets because they weren't in bad shape. That was 30k miles ago and not one leak.

Use a hacksaw and cut right before the rear axle.

Ehhhhh, id use a sawzall. Much eaiser. A hacksaw will work but it takes a lot of sweat if ya know what I mean. Atleast it did for me lol. We cut Glen229s exhaust with a sawzall and it tool like 10 seconds haha.

Sawzall will work...Just be careful not to cut unplanned items too. A fast sawzall may cut the pipe fast but it will also cut up other **** before you know it too.

you can take the exhaust off in one piece, ive done it. jack the car up to the friggin moon, and unbolt the rear shocks so the rear end swings down, with some fanagaling it will come out. it is easier tho to cut it.

Hummm, so on the hardest setting there soft when you hit bumps. To me that doesn't sound right.

Thats what I was trying to figure out...you said something about them recovering faster after bumps and I was wondering if that was on the soft or stiffest / hardest setting. You said hardest and I was confused. I figured on the stiffest setting the car would shake and bounce all over after hitting some nasty bumps.

its stiffer so you instead of hitting the bump and going 50 ft say after your shock compresses and retracts, it does it in say 30 feet. you bounce around a little more but nothing uncomfortable.
