Photoshop

Take two close pictures. (Stereo Pair)

Project the left in Red
The Right in Blue
overlap them.

Ok, So Sold my 8800GTS640 and got a pair of 8800GT.. These suckers are as fast as a GTX and with two of them, basically, it can fold space...

P.S. They are not really commercially available in Canada yet so having a pair of them is really odd..

P.P.S. The last shot is of my Server. 3 TB Dedicated RAID ZERO with a Redundant Backup.

Ok... ZALMAN TEST RESULTS.

P5N-32-E-SLI-PLUS with Q6600 (Stock Speeds for Test)

Single 8800GT (NO OC for Test)

Ambient Air Temp 20 Deg.

The test consisted of 5 Back To Back Runs of Futuremark 06.

Stock Cooler Stock Fan Speed (out the box as it were)
No Load after 10 Min
50 Deg C
Futuremark Passes max temp
1. 74
2. 77
3. 80
4. 82
5. 82 (If I did more tests, I believe it would keep heatsoaking higher)

VF-1000 60% Fan Speed (Set from Bios)
No Load after 10 Min
43 Deg C
Futuremark Passes max temp
1. 50
2. 52
3. 52
4. 52
5. 52 (No Crap There...)

That is a "Delta" of 30 Degrees LOWER... Unreal!

Remember, this is only 60% Fan Speed. It is dead silent and performing Very Very Well.

I did not test the stock cooler at higher speeds because it becomes REDICULOUSLY LOUD.

I have had this product twice now, Once on my GTS and now on the GT. I am completely impressed with the performance and looks of this.

Please spend the money, it's a No Brainer Upgrade. Don't even think about it, just buy it.

Bit of background.

I got a new case Friday.

A Thermaltake Soprano RS.

It had the room for my hardware and looks awesome.

The system.

M2N-SLI-DLX
AMD 4800+
2Gb DDR2 OCZ 6400
1x WD SATA 250Gb
8x WD SATA 500Gb
XFX 8500GT

The Server is silent, and the temps are ok..

Nothing incredible, Ambient MB Temp is 40 and the CPU is 46

With 9 HDD it's to be expected..

The Drives are cold to the touch as they are all covered by a pair of Red 120mm fans from the front..

The 500Gb Drives are split into two Raid Zero arrays of 4 each.

The Pair of arrays are then Mirrored as a backup.

Here are some shots..

I love The Red and Black, It;'s the first I have built to date.
