Now we wait for the "ZOMG ZOMG A WHITE SS/TC ZOMG FTW FTW ZOMG" comments

I can't believe that white SS's have been out since '06 and people still freak out over them for some reason.

Congrats on the new car man. Let me know how you like it. I'm gonna try to whip up a deal with my friend who is a salesman where I bought my Cobalt. I'm gonna see if I can get myself into an Imperial Blue SS/TC sedan later this year....probally late summer. I'll get one if I don't come out EXTREMELY upside down. I'm trying not to pay more than like $50-$75 a month more than I am now. We'll see what happens.

Haha I guess. I'm trying to go sedan later this summer. But no more white. I've been rocking the white since Oct '06 when I got it brand new. Time for a chaaaange.

Well, yeah but only for one reason.

I want an Imperial Blue SS/TC.

And Imperial Blue SS/TC sedans are about as rare as they come. When I bought my white 2.4SS a few years ago, I got it b/c no one really had one and I though they were unique. But within a year, no lie, there was like 6 other white 2.4SS's rolling around my area. SS/TC sedans are rare as it is, and the Imperial Blue color is all but non-existent out my way. I'm just trying to ensure I don't get another Cobalt that everyone and their brother out here has.

Yeah, here in Northern VA they're a dime a dozen. The first SS/TC my dealership got in even was a white SS/TC coupe.

I don't know how you pulled that one off. Well i'm sure i'll be at LEAST a few thousand dollars upside down on mine. I'll be taking off some of the modifications....not all. And dealerships HATE modified cars. Plus mine has a good bit of mileage (57k) and i'm sure it'll be a good bit more by the time I go to trade it in. Thats why its more of a pipe dream for me right now. I'm not even sure exactly what I owe on the car. But if the dealership can give me a decent deal on an SS/TC, even with my negative equity, I might be able to get one.

I owed just a little over 16k for my car I got 15k on trade for my car, got the new one for 21k and out the door with tax, title, and tag for 23k

But... my car only had 26k miles on it, I left most mods on it took some things off that would work on the new car.

I had a 463/ month payment before... and now it's 435/ month

Hm I see. Damn, if I had 23k on my car I wouldn't even be considering trading it in. Biggest reason I don't want my car anymore is b/c of the mileage.

Oh, and on a sidenote, I put 33k on my car the FIRST YEAR I owned it

It just seems that some people just don't drive their cars the way others do.

I lived about 4.5 miles from work when I was back in KC. And when you work all the time you don't have much time to drive everywhere else! LOL
