LNF Down
LNF Down
Well long story short.....in a turning lane and a bitch in a red camry wasnt looking and pulled out in front of me...I swerved to avoid t-boning her and I knew there was cars in the other lanes but they were further up ahead....sadly they were at a red light and I wasnt able to slow down in time. Hit a stopped car going 40mph deployed airbags and luckily nobody was seriously injured. The suspect backed up and left the scene and another car chased to get the license plate but nothing yet about if they found her. Insurance said its totaled so im buying it back for $1,650 and debating on selling the parts or rebuilding. I already got a loan approved for a 08 Grabber blue LNF belonging to "Gestapo007"-used to be candy orange. Hope to reveal another sexy cobalt for you guys soon.
I would like to thank the car community as a whole for helping me out before, during and now after the wreck.

Atleast I was able to enjoy it. Went to Chicago 2x,Orlando 2x GA,VA, and all over NC and daily driven. I dont know the exact damage to it yet as the insurance still has it in there lot. I will be swapping all aftermarket parts onto the 08 LNF so hoping nothing is damaged underneath what you see in the pics.
The other person just went in front of him causing him to swerve which you shouldn't do since a head on collision with another vehicle that is coming towards you is way worse and hitting some other vehicle from the side/back.
idk lol probably not going fast enough and feared she would get in trouble. I know the road she pulled down on but it could be because its from a different state which is very likely in Wilmington. I dont know how the police run there tags if its just state by state or one big database
how is it a hit and run if hes the one that hit someone?

I didnt hit head on??? I rear ended another vehicle and swerving to avoid a car is a human instinct. I literally had no time to even do anything more than just turn the wheel and stand on the brakes. She pulled out in front of me literally 5 yards in front of me lol how I acted that fast I dont know lol. The officer said I did the right thing and wasnt at fault.

Like I said I had no time to really decide, I knew if I would have hit her in the position the 2 cars were it would have been alot worse. I knew there was cars further down the road so I knew I could slow down alot more if I tried to avoid one accident.
and you are honestly an idiot if you are going to sit here and tell me that he was stupid for swerving.. who the hell is not going to attempt to avoid an accident if they can? ESPECIALLy when they are driving a car they care about. who the hell has time to ignore a perfectly normal reflex and evaluate the situation and decide whether they should hit a car or take the chance and swerve into what appears to be a more open option with a possibilty of being able to slow down and make any collision less forceful.
besides... any collision can be deadly depending on circumstances. trying to avoid one all together is the best option in any scenario.
come on man get your head out of your ass.

This is why I mentioned the head on part. You implied that I hit head on
I didn't say you hit head on. Swerving out of the way to avoid collision could have made you hit a car if you swerved to oncoming traffic. But in this case you swerved the other way or whatever. I'm going to have to disagree with the officer on this one. Why would swerving and hitting a innocent vehicle be the right thing to do? If you would've hit the lady that jumped in front of you you more than likely wouldn't have been at fault either and she wouldn't have gotten away with it.
stop trolling... call it whatever you want. getting her plate because she left the scene is still valid.

Because of me swerving I was able to slow down 10 mph. Either way ***** shitty and no matter how prepared you are something will always happen so you just gotta stay on your toes and be ready to do the best you can.

Don't know about you but when im driving my car I never have my guard down. I'm always looking at whats coming ahead and thinking of how I would react if another driver did something stupid as it happens alot down here. Have had a big rig slam on the brakes while I was going behind it and also almost every time I drive there's a driver that is about to hit my car if I didn't move. We have the worst drivers down here so if you are not alert you will get hit. I just know my instinct wouldn't have been to swerve and endanger more people than what would have been in the original accident.
