Which is why I attempt to prepare myself for anything when I drive....honestly you will not believe the **** I have seen here. People that come from mexico actually try to get into accidents because they know they can get money out of the people that live here. The part of mexico that i'm close to has basically a free for all as the rules of the street.

Yeah it sucks that it happened and its good that no one got hurt. I was just pointing out swerving COULD have been worse than the actual accident

Sorry for your loss man. It's always a fear of mine in the back of my head of getting into an accident that is beyond my control.

Sorry to read this, but am glad no one got hurt.

I had something very simliar happen to me. Old man turned right in front of me and cause me to swerve hitting a median, took out the subframe, suspension and radiator and some wheels. I didn't hit him, so he kept on going. Someone followed him and got the plate. His insurance ended up paying for it since he failed to yield.

Sad day man. Glad you guys walked away and they're giving the car to you for a decent price. Should be interesting seeing Gestapo's car with LMs on.

Why yes he is. Because the lip on the new one is used and the old one is setup for lowered driving

Man dude, I know the feeling all to well after I was hit from behind by a big A@# truck. The Driver was texting while driving slamming me at 60mph. Beyond totaled my black 08 2.4L I'm very glad and manage to walk out of that one. Be grateful your still here and breathing, materialist things can be replaced but people can't

Depends on what you call a good driver. There's good drivers as in drag racers and such which I'm not since I've only been there once and only did 2 passes which were horrible. Then you have the auto x drivers which love corners. I'd say im a precautionary driver where I plan ahead instead of goofing off and reacting on the spot. Well atleast when im driving my car.

I don't care what anyone says, if you were put in that position where you were surprised by someone randomly pulling out in front of you, you're going to try to avoid it. Not continue to drive straight and hit the person.

Trolls will be trolls but ****, at least have some sympathy for a fellow cobalt owner. No need to bash his driving skills. The only person that knows exactly what happened was him.
