heh, its NOT mounted and i already noticed that its moving, i figure if i throw something in front of it so that it cant slide all the way to the back of the trunk i will be fine, but thanks for the heads up!

heh, no other comments, i thought mtx was a good brand?

looks good man. yea MTX is pretty good stuff. did you ever see that MTX cobalt? what size amp is that? are you using the stock headunit? youll love the way it sounds lol.

my box only slides in the winter when i its pushed foward because i have to bags of sand behind it in the winter. in the summer its fine though, i just slide it up on top of that wire loom under the carpet and it gives it a slight foward lean.

right or you can go to home depot and get some stainless steel straight flat metal pieces with holes in them and just screw one in the top of the box and the others into the top of the trunk where the seats fold down.. thats what i did for alittle bit..

Id still like to know where you got it done.

They did a nice job, they loomed the wires and everything. Most places just throw it in there and don't make an effort.

It looks good, very clean, looks like something i would have done. I was never a fan of putting the amp on the box tho. If i had done it, thats the only thing i would have changed. I like to get creative. and it always turns out awesome.

But it looks good

as for the L brackets. They had it right above. Since its a dual box, id put two in the Back. that should hold it from moving

ok, i got it done at a local store called mickey shorr, they have about 14 stores in michigan.

for now i have a 1 inch tall box sitting in front of it to keep it from sliding forward without blocking any of the sound, after i wake up more and hop in the shower i will go out and take a picture to show you guys what i mean.

my friend has poke a hole in his subs due to the box moving around

I installed a nice L bracket on my single sub box and now I can go to the track and not have to worry about it moving around

Lightweight sub? Or just don't care? Most people I have heard take their subs out while going to the track. Kind of pointless if you ask me. If it's your dd I think you'd want to run at the track with all the elements your car has on a day to day basis.

I don't do the whole "track stripdown" thing...I want to know what my car runs from day to day.

I may consider some DRs in the future but I will not be taking out any seats or audio or any of that crap...besides, its only one sub anyway.

That's what I think. Too many people strip it down.
