The modding has begun.
Ok so the few little things I've done to my G8 have been fun but now the real stuff is on the way! Heres what the new front bumper looks like, its being pulled from the mold as I type. (The tag cut out has been removed.)
It'll have the lower grill done in flat black but not the fog light buckets they'll be done to match the car.
I also have a custom set of stripes being cut that look very close to these. They will also be flat black.
Headers are also on order, went with Doug Thorley tri Y headers. Couldn't beat the price and they make more TQ then long tubes. Even tho I'll be making over 400 ft lbs of it you can never have enough torque!
Now the headers delete the cats thats no biggie but I'll be leaving the stock pipes but going with Dynomax turbo stlye mufflers.
Wheels are gonna wait till the factory 19's need to be replaced and then she gets these bad boys in 20x8.5 for the front and 20x10's for the rears! I may not be lowering it in order to be able to run 305's in the rear.
The rest of the car is damn near already blacked out all the way so I guess I may as well go all the way and just de-badge it and do the chrome door handles to match the car too. That way the only things not blacked out will be the wheels and exhaust tips.
Maybe next summer a nice supercharger may find itself a new home under my hood but I'm not entirly sure a 550+hp supercharged daily driver is right for me. Sure it'll be a BLAST to drive but I'm not sure I want to die just yet.
So have I missed anything?
