Looks good. I still can't decide to go with 19s or 18s, or maybe even light weight 17s for performance.

Thanks guys, yeah I just had them put on today and one of the guys doing it had the same thought. Ive always liked the 5 spoke design though over everything else. I was hoping for something in black but this looks a little cleaner I think.

I thought about that too, but I dont think youd really notice a huge difference in performance with lightweight wheels. But then again I dont have experience with them either, so I dont know.

I don't think it's the tires so much, but that you need to lower that thing. Nice rims. Kinda look like the new Vette wheels.

Anyone know if tiremaxx will replace any rims that were damaged when they installed them? I just noticed my driverside front wheel is really scraped up from mounting....and Im kinda pissed about it. But I work in retail and hate people that b*tch about something like that. You guys think I should call them up and see what they can do?

Hell yes you should call them! They shouldn't damage your rims during install if they did it properly...

I like the way they look.. now you just need some slotted or cross drilled rotors to show off...

Just got off the phone..They're gonna have to "Take a look at it." Because it should be expected that normal wear and tear and things are gonna happen when the wheel is installed. LOL

Sorry dude but that's a total BS response from them. If a shop installing rims & tires has the proper equipment and staff that care about the work they're doing then your wheels should come back to you in the same condition you gave to them. So if the rims were in new condition then they should be returned to you in new condition...

That would be like a dealer returning your car with dents and scratches on the fenders and saying "normal wear and tear should be expected when someone works on your car..." lol

You make a very compelling point..I wouldnt really care if the lip was a little bit scratched because I know that can be a pain sometimes, but this isnt the lip. Ill see if I can get a pic of it tonight for everyone. Hopefully when I bring it in for "inspection" tomorrow he will agree and buy me a wheel.

just got home from tiremaxx. they are trying to tell me that they didnt do it and that it was like that when i brought it in!!! THEY WERE BRAND NEW! so they wouldnt replace the wheel, and i pretty much said well im not paying to get it fixed when i didnt have anything to do with it. so he referred me to an auto body shop in town where the guy totally agreed with me and said they definitely did this. you didnt curb this or anything, this was done on the mounting machine. tiremaxx's explanation, "its impossible for our mounting machine to do that, it doesnt touch that part of the rim." pics to come, im a little pissed off.
