Somebody over on our sister car's forum site was showing off their new camera mount so I thought I'd show my uber awesome one that I just got as a gift this holiday.

It is the best out there, it uses a vaccum seal to lock on. It doesn't just suck on, I acutally pump it and it locks on. VERY sturdy. I tested it up to 80mph.

I had no idea that they made anything like that! haha that thing is amazing. The quality is great too. hardly ANY shaking at all.

Sweet Merc. Now go get some more videos because that thing rocks! Your videos are usually pretty damn good anyhow. I would be careful with it on the paint however. It should be fine on the glass though.

Cool mount, have fun with it. I'm going to be buying one that mounts on the headrest since external mounts aren't allowed for auto-x or anything.

is that the dvx100?? i have a few of those, they're awesome cameras... the 24p setting kicks ass, but it wouldn't be good for driving

 

a suggestion i have would be to get a microphone cable extender, so you can put the mic inside the car and not have all the wind noise

That camera mount could also be a dent puller too if the dents big enough.Its a 2 in a 1 deal.

Here is mine I got for christmas. I dont think its anywhere near the coolness of his but I absolutely love it and was thinking about getting a suction one like he has for the outside of the vehicle for another camera.






Sorry I dont have any pictures at the moment with the mini dv in there. I just snapped those pictures before I took off and then later put the camera on for some intown footage this afternoon.
