5.7L LS1 Engine
HP 310 under rated
TQ 345 about right
6 speed manual T56 Transmission w/ hurst short throw shifter (verry nice)
top speed 158mph electronically limited
weight around 3400lbs
approx 1/4 mid 13's stock form
0-60 5.2 seconds, and i can vouch for that.
all leather interior
t-bar roof, tinted windows all around
Monsoon 500 watt stereo w/ 6 disc cd changer.
stock 16" alloy's (upgrade to 18x10.5" rear and 17x9.5"front corvette Z06 rims soon)
only has 29k miles on it. and its an 02.
what some may not know. is that the mid 00+ LS1 engines came w/ Z06 (LS6) Intake manifold which gave it more power, some even came w/ Z06 (LS6) block

The Camaro is a great car. Drove an '02 SS Aniversary Edition.... What a ride. Car has ***** and attitude. Photos don't do the car justice. You see it in person and it is so nice!
Not as fast as the '04 Z06 I've driven, but is still very fast and has a unique look and feel to it. Less refined, and more brutal!
Hope they bring it back, but make it look better than that new Goat!!!!
Classic American Muscle machine. Enjoy and take care!

yeha i cant wait to play w/ the goat, heard those things are tricky off the line to launch due to IRS. from what i heard a properly drivin stock f-body can hang w/ the 400hp ls2 goat due to weight difference. but none the less still a verry nice car, the goat.
i really can't wait to start playin w/ the 05 gt's.

Was a great car. I was shocked when I heard it was being discontinued! Hopefully it will come back in a little bit of a cheaper form that will compete well against the Mustang GT. Of course I mean compete in price, cause the performance part will be no problem!
Looks good Eddie now go get some mods on that thing.
I would start with a lid and filter, !cags, catback, lowering springs, then step up to headers, and maybe a cam and heads.
Here are some pics of my old Trans Am for motivation.

You guys can buy my TA. It's for sale! http://www.cardomain.com/ride/482503
You guys went from trans ams to cobalts? That must've been a major power difference there. I would've kept the trans am if I had one and put one of those Remote Mount STS turbos on that thing or possibly a vortech supercharger....or pretty much any kind of forced induction

clean verry clean, i see u have fuel rail covers, wheree did u get that and how much? what exactly are cags, never learned what that is, help me out? also noticed u have some z06 rims verry nice, what lowering springs do u have?
right now i'm looking at UMI 3 point tubular sfc's, adjustable panhard bar, and adjustable lower control arms, all by umi, i've heard great things about them on ls1tech.com, and also read and it looks like i wont lose any ground clearance w/ the umi sfc's so i when i get my B+G lowering springs i wont ahve to worry about much. accept shocks. now just debating on shocks, looking at some slp belstiens right now. then i'll move up to a lid and some hooker LT's w/ catted y.
Heres what I have on my 2002 SS
- SLP Blackwing Air Box with Donaldson Blackwing Re-Useable Filter
- SLP Long Tube Headers & Y-Pipe w/High Flow Converters
- SLP Dual-Dual Cat-Back Exhaust (O.E. Option)
- SLP Predator Flash Programmer
- SLP Bilstein Suspension (O.E. Option)
- SLP Chrome ZR1 Wheels (O.E. Option)
- O.E. Hurst Short Throw Shifter with Hurst Stick (Eliminates rubber isolator)
- BFG G-Force KDW tires and BFG Drag Radials on base SS wheels

I went with the LG Motorsports G2 supersprings and used my stock shocks. I also used BMR tubular sfc's (wont lose any ground clearance).
And about the Z06 wheels they are polished and 18x9.5 all around. They are made by AFS wheels and I got them for a heck of a deal.......$450 for the set brand new from an auction on ebay that AFS did.
Oh and yeah your right, CAGS is the skip shift eleminator.
