Some of you were being mean in the other post i made so i just want to make things clear with you all. i traded in my dodge dakota for this new cobalt. the car only has 30k miles on it. it is my new car now and now my daily driver. i understand i got pm's from people saying the previous owner was running an 80shot. are you guys sure of this? I honestly don't know much other than when i bought it from the dealership they listed it as a STAGE 2 Cobalt ready for gm stage 3 kit. so this motor has never had nitrous run through the motor the dealership said. here are the pic's of the car. please don't be mean and rude to me again! if there is anything i should know about the car or the previous owner please pm me.

i had 1 person who pm me saying the previous owner was running 80shot. i want to run a 75 shot but i have no clue what the nitrous setup is set for? how do i check? the dealership said it's stage 3 kit ready and they can install it for me. so i was thinking about doing that but a friend say go get a custom tune. also i am pretty sure the guy who pm me about it is for sure he knows the old owner which is scaring me now. i hope nitrous wasn't used or run on this car. i hope i didn't make a mistake buying the car

 

Well, the guy that I suspect used to own it was like CBodnar or something like that, but he was banned a while back for cheating to win COTM, and I can't seem to find his account anywhere on here.

I might be wrong, but I know that he had a wingless black SS/SC, had black painted headlights and was running nitrous. If I could just find some old activity from him on here, then I could come up with a location and confirm whether or not its his old car.

Don't get me wrong, its a damn nice car, and hella clean. But he DID run nitrous through it.

I mean just go look at all of CBodnar's old threads.....he had a CX Racing heat exchange, black painted front bowtie, nitrous, black painted headlights, wingless...........and lived in Jersey. I w/o a doubt believe that to be his old car.

damn please don't tell me more. i am so happy with this car. i don't want to know anything the other person did with it. how do i tell if it is running ok? you guys have to help me out. i saw a thread on a tune day. maybe i should get the car tuned. also how do i check what nitrous i want to run? also where can i fill it up? like i want to run a 75 shot. i made a post before of my mod's and what i want to run. i think i need a clutch to support the nitrous. thanks for the info. i just don't want any bad info if this car was in a wreck or something. lets just not bring that up or mention that if it's been in a bad accident. the car came with a couple nice extra's that was in the trunk when i bought it

ok were not trying to be mean to him just letting him know the history of this car and if it is cbodnar's old car without a doubt spray was run through that engine all he talked about was nitrous.

Dude, don't sweat it. Just b/c someone used to run nitrous on a car dosen't mean anything is wrong with the car. If your car feels like its running fine, then it probally is. Also, if you really wanna make sure, just get a compression test on your 4 cylinders.

Also, I believe Jhop has a silver '08 Sport. Did you mean to direct that at me? I have a white SS if my username and sig pic weren't obvious enough........

jhop i was directing it to. i think the regular wheels chrome that belong on the car that i went back to the dealership to pick up are so nice and clean. i'll have to go to a garage and put the chrome wheels on it and take some more pictures soon.

 

Oh, well he has a silver '08 sport, not a white SS....so um....yeah. But i'm sure asking him for pics of a silver car will suffice since your looking for pics of a white car

that thing WAS a ticking time bomb lol Dont listen to anything the previous owner said though, all he does is lie. HE SAID HE HAD A 80 shot, but that is him just talking again, he had about a 50 shot on there for a little while.

 

Brikuch15, are those 18's? Looks like 17's with a larger tire size. Give me some info on that set up.

Go check your tires. If they say something like 215/50/17........the last number is the wheel size. The first number is the tire's width and the middle number is how your tire profile (height of your sidewall)

 

215 55r 16 nsx or rsx?
