My crash

cavcrash

Well thursday morning I was heading on my way home from work and get hit by a boxvan. Hopefully she is salvagable, it will be pretty close if not totaled. It got the car behind me too in the same spot. It suffered more damage it was an 04 focus zx3. My car is an 04 cavalier ls sport. The boxvan suffered quite a bit of damage too. It was crippled and unable to be driven after the fact. In fact all three cars were.

That sucks man, worst part is the time you gotta wait to find out if it can be fixed and if it can the time it takes to get fixed.

Good luck.

it looks like it can be fixed hows the damage to the trunk and side. go into the trunk and pull the carpet back and see how it looks. i got hit by a toyota pick up truck back in april and it took out my trunk and bumper damage was only 2G and i had GM fix it.

Yea I am in for a long wait. They still havent towed it from the yard where its sitting. Im not liking my rental very much because i hate autos. But im starting to grow on the cobalt. Its not as bad as I was expecting, but its no cavalier.

The trunk is tightly closed and wont open. I couldnt get it to open but the body shop will. I was in a rear ender and it cost 2500, but this was my 03 cav. It was never the same after, so i bought the 04.

that sucks man. I got nailed just over a month ago, and i've had to bring the car back in 3 times cause the body shop screwed up a bunch of other stuff not related to the accident. Make sure you take it to a body shop you trust and that takes pride in the work they do!

Sorry to hear that.

When I got hit in my dad's Jetta that's exactly what happened to it. It ripped the plastic off and the metal part was hanging like that. Thankfully it was only the bumper that needed replacing.
