My Ferrari and Porsche Experience in Vegas

I had a poll a little while ago asking you guys to determine what my second car I should drive in Vegas was (the car I chose to drive no matter what was the Ferrari 458 Italia). The choices were the Lamborghini Aventador, The Mercedes SLS AMG, and the Porsche 911 Turbo S.

There was an overwhelming vote for the Lambo. Unfortunately after looking at the Exotics Racing site after the voting was done, the Lambo was a lot of money to drive. As we all know, we all have budgets and I decided to go with the Porsche 911 Turbo S as many mentioned and I agreed with how it could be a lot of fun on the track.

Well below are a pic and a vid of each of the cars. If you want more pics of the cars I can post them up. I took quite a few! lol.

If you guys get the chance, I'd recommend checking them out. It was an amazing experience!

your ferrari instuctor seemed more helpful hustlin you around the track. how much pee came out when you lost traction in that porsche? id love to be an amazing driver then go do something like that and make the instructor lose it. like ben collins sneaking in and taking those cars around the track.

The Ferrari Was about $400 and the Porsche was $250 ish. Thee price changes for the different cars!

It is hard to explain. The Ferrari was more stable and felt faster while the Porsche was a little more twitchy (rear engined with a shorter wheelbase) so it was more of a challenge which made if fun. I'd probably lean towards the Ferrari purely because it was more stable and the noise was way more satisfying.

Drove the Ferrari first. If I could do it again, I would have driven the Porsche first. The Ferrari was the first available when I got there so they got me in it first.

I'll be honest a little pee came out when the 911 slid! haha

I enjoyed driving with the Porsche instructor a little better because he only corrected me when I was a little off line or if he had suggestions. The Ferrari instructor was good too but I found it a little repetitive as I had an understanding of the racing line. I found myself hesitating a little more getting on the throttle with the Ferrari instructor (mind you that could have been a good thing too).

Go for it man! Just understand that you will want to go back out immediately after finishing your session!

It's all on you so if you mess up it could end badly I suppose.

Although the mics on the video didn't pick up much of the Porsche, you could hear the turbo's woosh (that is what sounds like it could be wind noise in the vid) plus its acceleration was pretty incredible, but yes the Ferrari made the best noise by far!

Do you remember what the average speeds were around the track in general? Or max/min speeds?

Thanks. It is RACING SCHOOL, Exotics racing school is the ultimate driving experience at Las Vegas Speedway with Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche.

I'd say my max speeds along the straights were about 140 mph. Min speeds I'm guessing at 50 mph. Just rough guesses though. I didn't really have a chance to look at the speedo. I wish I did though.

Not really any restrictions. As you can see in the videos, there is an instructor with you in the car. You have to be 18 or older and have a valid drivers license. That is pretty much it.
