Oh **** I'm not far from LA at all, about 25 minutes with no traffic.
Who do you work for? I got quotes for full coverage for both cobalt and Z06, $198 from Statefarm and $205 from Allstate. With vette being insured for 7500 miles and cobalt for 10k miles. Including uninsured/underinsured motorist.

also look into as many insurance quotes as you can, before i got my new bike progressive quoted me 1500/year for both my bikes. i had my agent look into a bunch of companies and she came back with 600/year and the exact same coverage through another reputable company so it was a no-brainer. i actually just got a letter for my car insurance saying when i turn 24 in 3 weeks i will be due for a huge decrease so i have my fingers crossed!

i know how it feels, when i bought my bike from NJ and brought it back to PA i had to go through all that. it was fairly easy with AAA though

yah! yea since i had to change title/reg between states i either had to A. take the bike to AAA so they could inspect it which wasn't happening in February in PA (i hauled it home) or B. take a pencil and paper and stencil the VIN number off the frame which is what i had to do (they wouldn't allow me to take a picture of the VIN and paper with my name)

There's a lot of things to factor in when it comes to insurance prices. My dad is talking to our agent at Allstate(known him for 20+ years) to see if he can get a better deal. I don't think they'd want to see me leave after being with them since 2004.

I had to wipe the dust off my screen to make sure it wasn't the actual car. I'll never get tired of looking at that. I want either a black Z06 or a white one. Some day...
