Talking My Ride

So I'm basically new to the SS net, so I figured I'd introduce myself and show off my ride...

I'm Branden, I'm 19, I'm from Central NY, and I drive a Blue 2007 Pontiac G5

The first week I had her, first wash and wax, and a semi-debadge...

I don't know what tool owned this car before me, but he left his Honda's tip on it...

About a month and a half ago... I got a few different things from my friend Jeff, AKA HackAbuse...

Eibach Sportlines.

CAI with a K&N Filter.

Hack's custom painted black headlights with the amber lens.

And the Catback Exhaust with a Dynopro Muffler.

My most recent mod, my painted grills. I painted these black to match the color schemes I'm going for with the car... I want blue with black outside, and black with blue inside...

Before:

After:

There isn't a HUGE difference, but it's subtle and makes the front end look so much better... And of course, the pics don't do it justice...

No Exhaust!!

First Snow

Future mods are:
color matched dash bezels, possible LED's? black 17" or 18" rims, plastic on mirrors painted black, and more... I'll keep you posted...

Thanks for looking, and C&C welcome!

Thanks for sharing and congrats. Do you know anyone who wants a Cobalt SS supercharged? Mine only has 9k miles on it and I'm looking to get around 14k for it. Also has all the GM upgrades like stage II.

Hmmm... I'm assuming it's a 5-speed... my girlfriend is looking for a new car, and she won't drive an auto lol... if you've still got it when she's ready to make a purchase, I'll let you know...

The base G5 is the exact same as the cobalt, except with kidney grills... but that whole piece pops out and can easily be replaced by the cobalt grill... that's probably why lol...

and thanks everyone

very nice. love the color! good job with the headlights. lookin good so far. id go with 17" wheels if your gonna go larger. decent 16" tires seem to cost more than 17". the torque steer and feel of bumps in the road with the 17s is bad enough without adding an extra inch to the width of the tires. not to mention lowering extra stiffness if you lower your car. i guess it depends on if its gonna be a daily driver. or how much comfort you want while driving. anyway, good luck with your car!

The headlights were done by a "well-known" member of this community... HackAbuse...

The car is already lowered, and yeah, 17's is what I was planning on...

The car is a DD also...

The oil cap.

The extension that is there because of the engine cover, you can pull out that out and screw the oil car right into the valve cover.

I was told you could do this... but I wasn't sure if I'd break something if I yanked on it until it came out, so I left it for now...
