My SS, finally back on the road!!
Well here she is!
Lil history on it... BF popped the motor over a year ago, shes been up on jackstands since then while my BF was collecting parts for a big build. Well he gave up on that, bought an STI and I bought her. We worked our asses off the last month and rebuilt the entire engine. New cylinder sleaves, totally rebuilt transmission. Everything was replaced with brand new parts. (Check profile/garage for mods). First time she started up in a year was Sunday evening. Monday morning she passed a safety inspection and got a sticker & plates!!! (I bought out my BFs lease so she had to have a thorough inspection done).
Without further ado....
My REALLY dirty baby!

They are 17s. Once I get coilovers and drop her I think they will look quite a bit better. They do look sorta small. Mostly in pictures it seems to bring it out.
Cobalts can make 20s look like a nice normal size though, lol.

I personally like the wheels. Didnt have much of a choice tho, BF bought em last year rather than putting new tires on the stockers, he bought new rims/tires. So unless I feel like buying new tires for the stockers which are kind of gouged up and heavier anyways... those ones are staying for awhile.

lol nice.
They aren't the rims I would have chose first, but I do like them. And once I put her on coilovers I think it will look 100x better. She is kind of a 4x4 >.< Hopefully this summer maybe. Ive spent ALOT getting her back on the road, no $ for em ATM, lol.

Word. I have Sportlines on mine, and i'm still not happy with the drop. But I can't afford coilovers. Right now, any extra money I can save is gonna go towards funding a 2nd car so I can park/preserve the SS.

I sold my 04 and my 02 "Caf-fire" has been de-turboed and made it N/A again. Still has a built motor. Might try to sell it as a semi-project car, it deff needs some TLC at this point.. I'd be taking a HUGE loss on it compareds to if it was stock. 2002 with only 57k miles on the clock... So im in no rush, probably hang on to it for awhile till I figure out what to do with it.

Its been running well. Still need to tune it. It has a short in the fuse for the OBD2 plug (and cig lighter). So I can't hook up HPT. Gotta figure that out (I HATE wiring/electrical systems). I was able to load the base tune atleast, then a day later the fuse sparks when u plug it in. So its being babied. Going to try and find whats going on tonight.
