well, lower compression is good for boost! ;)

haha, yeah everything else is made for basically a truck..for low end and big towing. Although there are plenty of N/A 5.3l guys making 340+rwhp with just bolt ons and a cam. :)

Holy crap low 16's that thing is hauling lol. I LOVE the LQ9 motor..it's a straight torque monster. I wish chevy would have offered it for a regular cab like they do the Vortec MAX for the extended cab. :cussing:

The problem is that it sucks gas like it's going out of style. I'm willing to bet that was GM's main reason for not offering it.

Edit: Actually, in the early 2000's GM did offer an HD version of the 1500 that could be had with a 6.0 L, but they are extremely rare.
