ok i am sending my car our for tint.... just was wondering what different tint % looks like on different cars... now i like dark tint and legality does not bother me.

i was thinking going 20% or maybe even 15% on the driver and passanger window and then darker on the others but i dont know if i will see the differance and it will bother me

so if you could post up pics of your tint and what percents you have that would be great.

Thats good.. I usually take the balt to and from work...And then drive the fiance's trailblazer... I got that all retinted...But never get hassled for it.... Do you know if the shop you're goin to is putting vinyl on the matrix?

Around the back window.. The "matrix".. There's been a couple threads about it.. That the tint doesnt stick to it so some shops use glue, or a black piece of vinyl

 

yeah i was worried about that.. i dont know what they are going to do...

 

What he is talking about is the dot matrix on the rear window at the top. The tint dosnt stick to it very well so its not the same color as the rest of the tint. It's not very noticable on my car unless you get up next to it.

 

It depends though...If the shop knows what they're doin they wont have a problem.. My last car they used black vinyl...And on the balt i dunno what he did but its on there perfectly
