Dipped my car a different color yesterday.

posted this in the plasti dip thread but just going to leave this right here...
and the wheels will get re-done a different color later... not sure what yet.

Well, thank you at that. I'm not sure I'd paint my car that color permanently. And that's the whole point of plasti dip. And the satin finish? Well, to each their own I guess. I like it. Everyone else has clear coat and paint.

 

It will be a head turner and does look not to bad

 

It already is. lol. Driving home from getting it dipped it was fun watching look back on the freeway. I like the way it came out. Better than I expected.

Now onto the wheels. I might make them the same color as they used to be (black with silver metalizer over them), one got pretty scratched up, so I peeled them all. I have a few cans of flat gunmetal laying in the garage somewhere, might do that in the meantime.

It definitely looks better than the toureg I saw the other day dipped rust/fecal matter brown and black.

 

Not a fan of the paint on the headlights (same with your old color) but I'm going to venture a guess and say you like it so my opinion doesn't matter haha. But I do like the color.

Off topic, what SS emblem did you stick on the front?

Looks good...I would have left the dip off the headlights and I'd dipped the whole the car. The back doesn't look right with the black trunk...jmo
