Went to Milan this Sunday. Ran a new Best.
Stock 14.5 & 98. It keeps coming down, i wannt run a 14.4 or lower.

I ran against another Cobalt SS S/C. Awsome racing.
Guy was a real cool, and friendly. Said he was from Michigan. Auborn Michigan i think?
He said he reads the forums, so if yo read this, Speak up man. We gotta go racing together sometime!

Congrats. Those were some sweet runs. Do you have the g85 package? What RPM were you launching at?

Nope, i dont have recaros or LSD. I have everything else though. Inserts, XM, Runroof, ONStar... all that good stuff. But no LSD.

I'm about 90% sure i can get that to a 14.4 flat or under.

The one thing i will say, is that the entire race for that car at the track happens in the first 60ft.

NICE runs man ... now that I have seen how to launch the car I am sure I will put down lower times than my so far best of 14.9 ... in that last run did you warm up the tires or leave em cold?

Sweet!! It gives me optimism that I can do the same with the non-LSD. Every time I go to the track it is packed and I have averaged 4 timed runs on the 3 occasions I have been to the track. I can't seem to get into a grove. I'll crack a 14.7 one time then a 15.1 the next. I guess I'll find out this spring but I may have the GM stage 2 by then. A 14.7 may be as good as it gets for me, stock.

 

Very nice runs bro....im not sure when milan dragway closes for the winter but let us all know when u go up there again ....ill roll up there for sure.

T&T is awsome, though unperdictable.
I've seen people get anywhere from 6-17 Runs in a day.
If someone breaks down, its just a huge time stall.

The best day to go would be Saturday because theres no other events going on.
Sunday they will be having Gamblers Race $35, Box, No Box, & Bike
Plus Test and Tune

P.S. A not to anyone thats modded, If you run under a 14 second 1/4 Mile time, they require you to have a helmet.

 

under 14??? i thought it was under 13 ... I coulda sworn I saw some srt-4's running in the 13's without helmets unless I am just trippin
