new nav system and intake on the SS

Well here are my new updates to my car.

I have the new Fujita F5 intake....It was a pain to install but I got it done.

And I replaced my somewhat old Pioneer D1 navigation system with the new Avic Z1.

Last pictures are after I cleaned the car since its been so warm outside. (Notice the new .net stickers on the side now.)

I love that intake. Cant wait to get it. What was hard on the install though? Good looking screen too. Very clean.

Thanks! I mean it wasn't terrible. It was just a pain. I did have to adjust the fender well because the tire was rubbing I went with a different method then the fix that is on the board here. I'll try to get a picture.

I love the intake though. The sound is excellent and the car is a lot more responsive. So far I have no regrets at all!

You have to have one of Pioneer's XM receivers which I already had other than that nothing is required.

Its just as easy/hard to steal as any radio that you would but in a car.If someone wants something bad enough they are going to get it either way.

That is crazy! Lovin the in dash piece. I'm looking to do that one of these days. Question though: What about your steering wheel controls? Did you bother to keep them or did you just say screw it?

I'm so use to not using the steering wheel controls so I didn't hook them up. Also since there are so many features on the system its just easier for me to press the button or use the voice commands which the Z1 features. It came with a steering wheel remote that you can put on the steering wheel but I never put in on in the last one doubt I will do it now.
