did some detailing on the car today and polished the wheels for tomorrow's orlando meet. figured i would take some pics for you guys lemme know what you think!

how did you go about polishing your wheels? did it remove some of the scratches the polished 18's are notorious for?

 

Looks great man...how hard were the headlights to do?

 

nah, they are still pitted. i was thinking about something though. if i took a high grit sandpaper(like at least 2,500 grit) and sanded the wheel down a little, then polished...it would get rid of the pit marks

 

Car looks amazing man. Only thing im not as fan of is the "SS" emblem on the grille. I've never liked when people do that because it dosen't cover all of where the bowtie used to be.

But once again, car looks great man, keep it up!

not hard at all. took about 3 hours from start to finish. my only suggestion is krazy glue the amber lenses(i tinted them black) on the headlight. i had the lens pop out. pain in the ass to open it just for that

 

would look better with the trailblazer "SS" since its bigger

Lookin slick dude! That H/E looks like its flush with the front bumper. Or is it just me?

 

it is, i had to trim a little bit off of the back of the bumper. ZZP HE, not the greatest fitment in the world but it does its job. and thanks!

On the sanding wheels:

Do like 300-600 grit to get the pitting out, then step up to finer and finer before polishing. It will take forever to get anything out with 2500 grit
