New rims & tires.

They've been on for about a month but I just now got the chance to post some pics.

What do you all think?

I've got some eibach's that drop the back 1/2 of an inch. It's not much, but should help a bit.

Looks good! Only thing I don't like about those rims is that the center piece should be black too.

Well if the center peice was black as well then you wouldnt be able to see anything at all. They kinda blend in a lot. Heh. Anyway, I like the contrast they provide.

It's not like I downgraded or anything, they are still the stock 18" diameter. They do look smaller than the stock rims though and that's because of the black spokes and the polished lip.

The new tires are also 225's instead of 215's and are a much much better tire overall than the Pirellis...not that the Pirellis were aweful, these are just that much better. They are Bridgestone Potenza REO50A Pole Positions.

I like your car, but if i was going to run a rim like i would have more rim, less tire and a lower suspension. Those rims remind me of the corvette zr1 rims http://oewheels.net/oe-zr1-g-f-3-new.jpg I had these bad boys on my t/a. I wish they would make something for the ss/sc.

There's already too much rim and not enough tire on the car as it is. The roads here in Phx aren't exactly made of silk and anything more low profile than this would prove to be horrible as far as comfort and ride qaulity go...not to mention very rough on my suspension's components.
