I'm near Albany, New York.
You betcha! I haggled over this car for over a week. Then when the extra $1000 "Memorial Day" rebate kicked in (for a total of $2500) it was time for me to deal.
And I'm glad I did! Best thing I've had since my '04 SRT-4 (traded that car in a year and a half ago because I couldn't stand the ultra tight "Viper" seats ... they were killing me).
LOL
Thanks Red07SS (and everyone else) !
The stereo in this car rocks, the leather seats are comfy as heck, the wheels are super sharp, and of course ... the power is MORE than sufficient!
(though with only 300 miles on the odo, the highest boost I've seen so far is about 11lbs - guess I have to wait a bit before the computer will allow full boost).

And just to "warn" all of you youngin's here on this forum, most of you peeps are young enough to be my kids! (if I had any, which thanks to my uncaring ex-wife - I don't. LOL).
I'm a 47 year old career firefighter with alittle over 13 years on the job. I used to race 5.0L 'Stangs back in the day (before many of you were born!), but now I think that the 'Stangs are WAY overpriced.
Therefore ... my new SS/SC!

Sounds good! Maybe we can even get some other peeps interested and set up an SS/SC GTG out of it? Or how about a day at the drags at Lebanon Valley Dragway (later this Summer, when my car is running full boost).

These cars are supposed to be pulling 12 1/2 lbs. of boost, but from what I've read on another SS/SC forum the car's computer won't allow that until there are like 1,500 miles on the clock. And that's why with just 300 miles on my car, I'm not getting more than 10-11 lbs. of boost right now.
Thanks! I've only had it 4 or 5 days, but I'm driving it all the time!
I gotta say this though, that the tall SS/SC wing obscures even MORE view out of the back than the SRT one did.
LOL
