No more Cobalt...new rides
No more Cobalt...new rides
I will miss the Cobalt, but it was time to get what my family needed. We are not minivan people so we got lucky at this SUV since I will not be paying much more than the Cobalt and get it paid for in half the time.

It moved pretty quick to be a 2 ton SUV with only 270hp 275tq. Gotta get use to the gas, because I saw it move a 1/4 tank after a few minutes of hard test driving. Everything was A OK no leaks except pinion seal. Same rearend as my S10 and that pinion seal was nothing. I just couldn't go to the Ford Explorer(one more row of seats, same price, 10K more miles). I just had to stay with the bowtie.
It has power everything, heated mirrors, rear air, cd/cass/am/fm, 4.2 Vortec engine, 4 sp automatic, towing package. I am happy with it. $45 bucks to fill up the tank....YAHOO. Just wish it was the same mpg as the Cobalt.
Now my daily driver to work and back since it was so cheap. My first vehicle I bought myself and paid off myself. 1990 Honda Civic STD Hatchback...a whooping 70 CRANK hp and the 4-speed manual transmission. Clutch is slipping pretty good yet it still makes it from A to B. I will run it until the clutch slips then put one in myself later down the road.

I honestly do not wish I had to give up the Cobalt, but I am happy with my decision as if I do not get anymore debt. I will be debt free in THREE years instead of SIX. :dance By the way...I went to a different car lot than my own job's car lot. You know why...they tried to screw me out of TWO cars to make a 1500+ profit. I thought you were suppose to be helpful to your employees than to try to rip them off. You guys should've seen their faces when they saw I bought the TrailBlazer from another dealership. ROFLMAO!
I guess I will pop in every now and then.
