not another tint thread........

of course its another tint thread. i like how they came out. dark enough to accent the black but light enough to show bright in clear in direct sunlight. saw a srt4 with the black and it was way to damn dark his light barely shown through.





the srt4 next to my cobie



you can see that his tail tint just about matchs the color of my car.

never wet-sanded anything before. anyway how does that improve the shine? i may be interested in doing it but i'm actually not bothered by the dull look. if you dont agree i understand.

they look smoked out...did you tint them yourself? If not...how much did you pay? Id consider doing that...and yea that srt is much too dark. Looks like a black cover is on the light.

looks like you didnt spray them evenly but it might just be the picture.

did it myself with nightshades tint spary. i like the smoked look but i will be adding clearcoat tomorrow morning just to brighten it up a little.

its the picture and as you can tell mad cloud cover so the lighting is scattered.

well i got home at around 1:30am and started wet sanding the lights and i finished at around 3am. added a couple layers of clear coat and i must say wow. it looks so much better now.

thanks for that advice on the wet sanding guys. cobaltss.net owns for the very reason that when you need good advice its always there.
