Subbing to this thread. I bought my Cobalt (first car!) over 2 months ago and I'm looking for cool interior mod ideas. Probably going to plastidip as much as I can in black, and dye the tan fabrics black aswell.

finally new dash pieces are in, then being shipped off to be wrapped in REAL carbon fiber, not this 3m crap. stay tuned

Not much yet. Suede wheel, TWM, Alcantara shift boot, dual gauge cluster bezel. Next is CF wrapped trim, black radio and HVAC.

I would be so ocd about keeping all the suede going the same direction, I'd always keep a brush in the car with me lol. I'm sure it's probably not as noticeable in person, flash seems to make that stick out.

looks good, but i don't like how the boot looks like it doesn't quite match

This is what it looks like now...it's ok I suppose. I'll most likely change it again whenever I get motivated. I want to get a short throw and steering wheel eventually.

Just painted the dash trim and window control bezels today, all matte black, i think it looks pretty good. Next up is a cold air intake, lowering it, and painting rims black. Any other suggestions for interior or any other mods?
