Photoshop CS5 and LightRoom 3

Most people can get away with just LightRoom 3 and its a whole lot cheaper. Plus its much faster if you take a bunch of pics at a car show you can edit one, save how you edited it, and transfer those corrections to all of your other photos. You can still edit each one but there is no layers or anything like that in LR3.

Otherwise get Photoshop Elements, it comes with 60% of the features for like 1/8 the price. Im not sure if you can edit RAW in Elements but if you can that makes it a whole lot nicer.

Not mine, but a friend who has had pics published in National Geographic. The quality sucks because I pulled them off FB but they're neat. All were shot local to me.

You might laugh, but I use google's Picasa. Its free, and I don't like to heavily edit my pictures.

I use it for my job everyday. It's not bad for being free and basic

You could always try gimp it's strong in basic editing but it's also free. The operations are kinda backwards since they are trying to copy photoshop but it works.

Just got 20 inches of snow so I thought I would take a few pics. Here they are after a few tweaks.
