I have FMHE, Meth injection, cutout, tune

yea, I told him he needs cooling mods bad. Has to be heat soaking something fierce up top. Plus, that stage 2 tune is killing him.

An agressive tune on meth does wonders for a factory boosted car. You can get 10 more degrees of timing easy.

Your cutout also helps you out.

Interesting. I know I noticed a huge difference between going from just a T/I/E and then installing the CA heat exchanger and the dual pass plate with option B. IAT2 are on average 20* above the outside temp while cruising. Highest temps I have seen while doing a few runs was around 110*. Cooling mods def make a huge improvement.

later

it was a combination of the tune and the cooling mods. Had I still been on stock tune shifting just before 6500, I would have definitely lost.

Sorry the vid isn't better, it was dark and we were side by side for almost the whole race, hence why you can't see much. But you can clearly see me pull away up top.

imagine if I had a 2.8 now.

In his case if its no tune , I would tune it first . Actually Id go back to 3" with cooling mods and a super tune If u want something new to try , look to Evans propylene glycol coolant . I have yet to convert my car over , but weve had nice success in the super and turbocharged F-bodies locally via a more aggressive timing curve than previously allowed . In short , its boiling point is 324* , operates at 0 psi and pulls much more heat out of the engine and head than a standard coolant or shitty dexcool .

LOL @ the dial up. And the tvs comment. Hell, I can't wait for that, but I haven't even pullied down yet, I haven't even added basic bolt ons yet. Hell, I haven't really done much of anything yet. lol. Just wait till I add that other stuff on. Then later I'll bolt on the tvs.

I'm not sure. But that would be my guess as I pulled on him. It's a combination of tq and hp. I would ASSUME that he was making more tq than me, but it's all in the tune man.

the 2.6 made more hp, but also made more heat as a result so it could not sustian the power for long
