probably one of my favorites, there are some really nice classic skylines there, and i laughed when i saw the Mini's. kinda suprised to see those.

kinda laughed at the external mounted H/E's, not really sure what they're for.

Now you guys are talking my language. Before anything else, I was once a Datsun man!

It makes me sad that Japan will never again produce anything this epic.

you must know a damn thing about what JDM is all about. The cars with the "crazy paint jobs and exhausts" are Bosozoku cars. Google it b/c I don't feel like explaining it. Also, the little charms hanging below the rear bumper on some cars are drift charms......its an item a drifter hangs to inspire luck.

nah, I think its badass. I'd love to own a Bosozoku style car. They're like the old school JDM gangstas. Now the VIP theme reigns over there..........and here.

Agreed! It was never quite clear whether my first car was a B210 or a B310 (took some parts from each) but it had the 1.4L (a14) engine. Over the years I had painted it an awesome black and purple scheme inside and out, and rebuilt the engine and painted that fluorescent green. The transmission croaked and nobody anywhere had a replacement because all of the Bugeye sprite owners regularly gobble them up. I thought I had found one in Cali, had it shipped all the way out here only to find out that it was for a different model and would not fit. After that I knew I had to let it go.

I went 3200 miles to Oregon to get a 1976 Lancia Beta Scorpion to try and mitigate my loss. Nothing will ever replace that Datsun though.

no, i really don't know what JDM is all about, i don't pretend to, i was just saying it's not my style, they obviously put a lot of work into the cars, i'm just not familiar with it. i can respect them for the effort though, just like lowriders, or the caprices on 24's. not my style, but i can respect their love for the car, and the time and effort and creativity they attempt to express. i don't diss other styles.

and i didn't know about the charms, it looks like a star shaped plastic party light you get on strings at chirstmastime.
