pull the codes with machine u can borrow from that parts store. Let the car sit for a while and then drive it nicely for about 50 miles. thats what i did when it happened to mine. I dont remember the codes, but i mashed through first gear and then part way through 2nd and then BAM, car shuts down and does the engine power reduced thing.... i sat for like 10 minutes... car started and i began to drive... it felt bogged down for quiet a while... id say maybe like 20 miles... i got to the next gas station, pulled over and got gas.. (had half a tank) started the car and drove home... after about 15 more miles i didnt notice the bogging anymore.... i went to the part store and run the scan tool and cleared the codes, never happened again.
i couldint stand that guys voice and what a stupid video. thats just like the video of that moron driveing a cts-v caddy on limp mode and makeing a video saying ooh pos. poor car im sure he was a dick to the car
HAHAHHA sorry i didnt watch the second video lol.
sounds like the firing order is either wrong or he's got some faulty plugs or something similar because it doesn't sound like all the cylinders are firing. What i dont understand is why he doesnt call a taxi, go to the movie or home or whatever, lock the car up where it is then have roadside assistance come get it in the morning...

by the look of his comments, and the size of his shadow, id say he could lose a few pounds....probably explains the ruined drivers seat.
he smoked his clutch, and broke his CABs, sounds like a great driver.....
and he had engine power reduced problems from his CAI.
Curious to know what other mods he had done. because if he doesnt understand limp mode, or how to quite easily clear it instead of making a "HEY LOOK AT ME" video
then maybe he shouldnt have been modifying his car in the first place

mine did that all last winter!!! not even enough room on this forum to tell you all the things that have been changed on the car! One of my buddies is the service manager at the dealer and he told me that they have spent over 15,000$ on my **** box so far! At least my last 5000 KM have been trouble free!!
ah well, can't win em all!
