i dont know too much past the names of the engines of the hondas

so with that being said, what is really needed to build up b18s and b16s NA

a few kids down here think their badasses with them, one has a integra, the other a civic ex

i can beat them both with my 2.2..... i know they have intake and exhausts for sure, all they do is fart

see i know there are like 4 different forms of each b18 and b16

so who knows exactly what they have, but they are not fully built... one passed me at 70, i was doing about 45, i floor and and started pulling him in and was on his ass by 90

Most na builds consist of high compression pistons like 12:1 or 12.5 in the case of the silver ek. You can se oem pistons out of other block to obtain it then go with eagle rods. Agressive cams and dual spring upgraded valves, potted heads and such. Tuning plays a big roll on them. My buddies 1995 civic Si is making 255 whp na. On a b18c5.

There are alot of diffrent b18's and b16's. B18a's and b18b's are ls integra engine with no vtec. B18c1 is usdm gsr. B18c is the jdm version with more power and a bit higher compression. B18c5 is usdm type r. I have seen some put down 200 with just boltons. B16 arnt that diffent they are all vtec just some have higher compression than others. The best is the b16b which is ctr. Also around 200 hp.
Ls vtec is when yo take a non vtec block and mate it with a vtec head from the b18 or b16 family.

Don't get too confident man. When my cobalt was at 285 I got ass raped by a 99 hatch with built b17 gsr. Sounded like **** but I was quick as ****

yea the main reason i got walked was because the b16s were in gutted crx's.
my friend said they were close to putting down 200.
