LOVE the interior! The way the dash is focused on the driver. The shape of the gauge cluster. Pure, unadulterated genius.

 

Kudos for having a rad car at 18 and doing it yourself. I gather that most of the grown-ups on here (19+) are far above your level of maturity.............. He's 18 guys, he's going to have a hot head just like we did. From what i gather he's not out to flame others just trying to get accepted . Before you type try to remember that he is only 18.

Actually i bought my lsj for $8500, used my remaing $5000 to pay off my GTI and do a couple mods to both. When you get brain in between your ears that works, you'll (hopefully) learn the meaning of the phrase "more bang for your buck". So hate on lsj's all you want kid, but when you have to pay 3 car payments, insurance for all 3, rent, food, phone bill, internet, water bill, gas bill electric bill, and 2 of your cars would **** all over gt's, lnf's, etc, not because you bought it that way, but because you built them that way, then you can complain about "working your ass off" until then, have fun working at the fast food places

 

And as for my hood, its for sale, only on the car for advertising purposes. Thheyre always gonna be a ricer out there somewhere that'll want it xD

 

And the whole. " I do it myself thing is funny" You probably work 20 hours a week with your sports practices every, I bet you dont even make $250 a week.


That car is most likely in your parents name.

By the way, if you were 17 when u got the lnf, u had no established credit which means you need a co-signer to even get the car, unless you paid in full, which you didnt because you said you're making payments. So with that said, the car isn't in your name (at least not entirely) and I highly doubt you can afford that car payment for a kid at such a young age and insurance on a sporty car. So the car most likely isn't in your name at all, or your parents help you out with payments on insureance, car, or both. Theres no way you can go to highschool, be in sports, and work enough hours to pay for it. So you are utterly and completely full of ****

but I had a job since i was like 12 maybe, was in sports in high school, had a job all through high school, bought my LT outright with cash at 16y/o for $9k, paid all my gas, insurance, etc., kept working my ass off. then at 19 years old I sold the LT for the same $9k, and bought the SS/TC with cash all while going to college and paying for all of that myself..... so I'm not saying that its impossible, but I was extremely frugal with my money and it took a ton of saving (and a lot of patience) to do it..

I highly doubt a weed smoking high schooler that stays sooo "fly" has taken the same money saving initiative, unless your parents pay for that too??
just because you can get a loan doesnt mean you can afford the damn thing, we could all be rocking corvettes if we wanted to take loans out for what we "own". just a matter of how much debt you wanna keep yourself in and feel comfortable with

 

Yeah man, but you paid both yours off in cash while saving your money...this kid had to take out a loan, and at 17 he had no credit established which means he needed a cosigner to get the loan.
