OMG... lose those ghey ass blue bolts! That just ruined the thread for me. I had some good comments lined up for you too.

You want 4 Stainless Bolts? I has some? $5 shipped. They are a perfect match - Hex head.

Any spray paint will work. High Heat Engine paint is recommended though.

I used Krylon Wrinkle Black on mine.

So you painted it then sanded down the ribs? I was thinking id polish them then paint it and while the paints wet take like a Q-tip and whipe the paint off the tops of the ribs

i thought about sanding first, but i just figured this would be easer than messing with wet paint

Then how would they know that the Blue Bolts meant is was a Stg2? Haha... you'd think that they'd see all the blue was worn off and know that something was up.

Are you serious? Its a 30 TORX, IIRC. If you had trouble with that... have fun taking the blower off.

There's a trick to it... but its pretty simple. Getting the belt back on can be a bitch.

Nice! Did you sand the unit down before painting? Primer at all?

Not bad stu... Makes me wanna polish the ribs on mine also. Except I sanded the blower down completely so it's smooth. For some reason I like the unsanded look much better than mine...
