agreed.
OTTP mounts work better without the engine mount. The OTTP mounts change the angle of the tranny/engine slightly, resulting in better shaft geometry (which im sure you knew), whereas the engine mount attempts to hold then engine in the stock position, just more firmly, which would make it difficult for the trnny mounts to rotate it. They work against each other. Just trying to help you out.

That's what I have gathered as well. The stock engine mount is better because it is more flexible.

only when installing it. once its installed it stays "rotated", not just when you punch it. all you have to do is loosen up the upper mount....yeah, its a bit more of a pain in the ass. but the ottp mounts don't just rotate then engine. they also are stiff as hell. almost, if not as, solid as the TTR upper mount.

i'm one of the few lucky people who have compared, with their owns hands....side by side. the difference between the upper motor mount, and both trans mounts. stock/aftermarket. TTR and ott's mounts are very, very stiff compared to stock. its just that the ott ones don't vibrate as much as the poly inserts and not NEARLY as much as a true solid mount

again, really only helps while installing it. but you should loosen the three engine/mount bolts anyways. but once you have the ottp mounts in....they stay in that "rotated" position
