Hope this isn't out of line here...

Ok, so the wheels on the SS/SC look heavy as sin, and remind me of pizza pans, not to mention I'm gonna be needing new rubber, so I was thinking about the possibility of using some GM factory rims, most are boring, but I figured if the VW guys can do it, so can we.

So, I was hoping someone could take this car (purely as example), and photochop the wheels below on to it.

lol just saying. i would do it but i dont have photoshop on my new computer yet.

also, its alot easier if you get a picture that perfectly to the side of the car. so the wheels dont look warped.

Actually the stock wheels are an average weight for being 18's.

lol not gonna lie looks like you have a stock LS or something just with a SS body kit if you do this. Trust from experience either keep the SC rims or get the TC rims.

To be honest, i think the SC and TC wheels are the only wheels that go good with CSS's.... Maybe a hand full of aftermarket wheels...

 

You are correct because only lipless rims look good on Cobalts....
