PIC REQUEST: show your poop tubes!! (edit: N1 mufflers..lol)
That's right.. Show your poop tubes.. Post up pictures of your Cobalt (or even someone elses) who has a canister N1-style muffler / cat-back..
I like how my GMPP sounds, but I'm not a fan of the double-walled tip.. I've seen a few pictures of them and they've looked descent..
Show what you got!!

This doesn't apply for the Cobalt, but the angled tips were also necessary on the original custom versions of exhausts for certain cars because of how the stock set-up was.. Like on the CRX, factory, it came on the other side, then looped around. So when you custom welded something on, it was easier for it to just stay at an angle. Aside from that, it doesn't really do much.. lol
not to be an ass but i hate it when i see cobalts with N1 mufflers..................that **** is grose to me ................where domestics..............and i feel it looks grose..............aslo all the newbs talking about rice this rice that and how much they hate imports and honda owners............hahahaha...........i just dont ******* get it hahahaha.........plain and simple N1 MUFFLERS DONT BELONG ON COBALT hahahaha

Think outside the box bud. What are you gonna say next......that black people shouldn't drink from the same water fountains that white people do? A Cobalt is a sport compact car. Its not some RWD pony car. That being said, canister, or "N1" style mufflers as you are calling them, originated on.....gasp....sport compact cars! Wow, who woulda thought it?!? So a canister style muffler on a 4-cyl sport compact car.....in this case....a Cobalt....seems perfectly acceptable to me.
Anywho......kinda old pics....but I still have the same setup:

I was actually the first actual customer to purchase the ARK N2 cat-back (yes, no bs, if you want to hear how just PM me), the 2nd Cobalt to ever have it installed (only behind the test car) and the first 2.4SS to have it installed
^^^^thank you!!!100000% agreed
All this talk about rice. You guys use the word"rice" way to freely.Im sorry that magnaflows dont sound that great to me,and really I like the look of canister mufflers more.Who cares if we are domestic,Its a style of muffler.

My point exactly. I mean I will say, to a certain degree, that there are cars that a canister muffler would be terrible on.......like a Camaro or a Mustang. But as far as 4-cyl/sport compacts go.........well.....a canister style muffler was designed for those types of cars! So many "GO USA" junkies on this forum that can't seem to ever think outside their little box and realize that its 2009, and ZOMG.....American and Japanese trends have interwebed/mixed!
