Pics of my paint dash trim....Let me know what you think...and a little How To my way

Let me know what you guys think of my dash thanks in an advanced

Ok here is how i did my dash trim:

01. sand down the trim with 1000 grit sandpaper make sure you take off the SS symbol to reinstall it all you have to use is superglue
02. use Rustoleum spray adhesive primer for plastics (let dry over night)
03. sand down the primer with 360 grit sand paper make sure you wipe down all sanding dust off of plastic before you paint
04. for my car i used Krylon rust tough yellow enamel paint
05. spray 1 light coat wait 10 min spray another coat wait 10 then spray one last final medium coat dont over spray it you will get runs in the paint
06. wait roughly 3 hours in 70 degree weather before applying cleat coat
07. i then used duplicolor clear coat which i used the same steps for the paint in line number (5) let set over night at leat 12 hrs depending on temp.
08. then i used maguiars rubbing compound on it to make the clear smoth
09. then i used Turtle liquid wax glass finish on it waxed it 2 times
10. then reinstall all parts being carefull you dont scratch it while installing them

Any question feel free to ask

Well i did not paint the back of mine cause of that and because it messes up the clips for the parts that have to go back on there like the center piece the black thing and the fog light switch it would make it really soft or really hard but no i did not did not see no point in it

As always, I say, never paint the trim piece between the radio and A/C controls.

when i did mine i painted it... i think it looks better that way... it's all personal preference though...

i think it came out good... the yellow is a lil bright for my liking, but i guess it's not for yours, so came out nice.

i think it would be cool to paint the hvac control area and then have it taken to an airbrush place to airbrush custom control logos in the right spots. my silver is fading there and i will end up doing this eventually.
