Pictures of your first Cobalt

Ok let’s take it way back in the day when these things were actually new. My 08 red LT 4 door. It was more of my then wife’s DD, but I fell in love with the platform and the CSS community. I left after she totaled it, but returned with a 05 SS/SC with lots of mods. Yes hate away. It looked cool at one point. I lowered it before it was totaled at 34k miles. Post your first cobalt no matter how shaming it is!

This is a real turn back the clock picture. My wife said once, if you were going to that to a car did you have to start with a brand new one.

I looked in my computer and I can't believe that I have no pictures of my '06 SS.

A before picture, before it got butchered.

It's my one and only. Bought it seven years ago with 55,000 miles on it. I use it solely as a daily driver and it's now clocked over 140,000. With lots and lots and lots of work, it's still going strong — although, it's in need of a few repairs right now...

I pulled the motor out a year after I bought it new and I only had about 36,000 Kms. The original plan was a beefed up version of the LSJ but things went sideways and I was told a V8 would be the cheaper more efficient way to go. I can now say emphatically that that was not the case.

Facebook keeps popping up these in my memories. Man I miss my little shitbox. I would totally take her back. Too bad a 16 year old kid got it... I’m sure it’s totaled or blown up.
