I just thought it might be cool to see what people have owned before their Cobalts. I've switched cars more than most people I know at my age, but I have ADHD, what can I say? I get bored .
In the order of first to last:

1. 1998 Ford Escort Zx2 5spd - I actually don't have a picture of this one, sadly. I still loved my first car though!
I lowered it two inches and put some black wheels on it lol.
Stock Google pic:

2. 2001 Ford Mustang GT 5spd. This was my first foray into "faster" cars. This thing was fun as hell.
Full exhaust, x pipe, no cats, tru flo mufflers with down pipes before the axle, Saleen under drive pulleys, traction bars, cold air intake, ac delete, short shift kit, white gauges and blue back lights. Lots of audio mods as well.

3. 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport. I decided one day that I'd really like to be able to drive in the winter. Hence I bought the Jeep. Off roading was probably the highlight of owning this vehicle. I loved going down to Tuttle Creek, KS with friends.
had a 4" lift, 33's but otherwise stock.

4. 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe LS. I bought this beast after I started doing out of town gigs with my band and we needed something reliable, fairly large and able to tow a bunch of band stuff (I tried towing with my jeep for a few months and it just wasn't cutting it, especially out in the sandhills and the mountains). I sold this truck to a friend with 180k miles on it.
I put 50k of those on it. In two years. I drove this thing EVERYWHERE! I put a k&n on it and a bunch of audio stuff. Also true duals, no cat and Thrush mufflers. Sounded very nice . I drove this thing EVERYWHERE!

^drove it to Red Rock, just outside of Las Vegas one year.

^Lake McConaughy, Nebraska

^Ft. Robinson, Nebraska

...and of course, 5. 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt SS/TC

Here's mine in order of being aquired.
'81 Buick Skylark

She makes me mad, but I still love her. Has a flooding issue that is a bugger to figure out. Rebuilt the carburetor, changed the carburetor, changed the fuel pump, each change fixed the flooding for a bit, than it starts flooding again.

'91 Cavalier Z24

Got this due to Buick being unreliable. Older picture already. The rust got worse. :-\

'10 Cobalt SS

Bought the Balt because it was the last year to get a new one, and I liked them since the SS/SC.

Then the newest addition, '92 Cavalier Z24

This one will more than likely replace my '91. More info in the thread I made about it.

Both Cavaliers together

I almost forgot. Before I got the Balt, I was co-owner of a 1990 Chevy Sprint three door hatch. Believe it or not, I accidentally squeaked the tires with that power house. The little 1L 3 cylinder didn't make much power, but it sure got great gas mileage. Sorry, no picture.

Sweet thread idea. Here is mine in order.
1997 Toyota Camry, my first car, riced it to hell then wrecked it. It wasn't blue when I bought it either.

1997 Ford F150 I got from my grandfather when he passed. Sold it after it developed an oil leak.

1995 Acura Integra, bought it for $100 off a friend of mine. Sold it.

2007 Chevy Cobalt LS, ruined it by adding a supercharger, sold it.

2004 Ford F150 FX4, still have it.

Parents gave me the '78 F150 when I got my license, which I beat the heck out of, still have it rusting out back. The Spitfire was pretty much free which I then sold as a parts car.

'84 Trans Am was given to me after it had sat many, many years, so I dumped a ton of money into it my senior year, been through 3 engines and now needs a transmission. Has fought me the whole time I've owned it.

'69 C/10 which my grandpa restored in the late 90s and I bought from the estate, just put these wheels on it this last weekend (hence the crappy pic). Has a pretty wicked 383, static 2"-4" drop and a whole lot of other work that could fill this page.

'05 Sunfire Sport was bought in '06 as a need for reliable transportation, was loaded with every option but still a manual trans. Traded it in on the Cobalt, was a good little car.

'07 Cobalt SS/SC (coupe) pretty much bone stock. That's my cousin's sedan (dmstk8d1)

'93 K2500 was a complete basket case that ran for 5 years before finally giving up the ghost last fall, is currently undergoing a 2005 6.0/4L80E swap (<--- lots of work)

'86 Suburban was bought as you see it for the engine which went into the Trans Am and then parted it before hauling the body to the scrap yard.

I forgot to add this little guy to my list!

1982 Chevrolet Citation. Custom Paint job.

I bought it from a guy at my high school to race in the Lemons 24 Hour Race. We began prepping it (destroying it) but got discouraged after we gutted the interior and found out that we would have to be putting a lot of money into it for safety.

^2.8 liters of pure carbureted POWER!

After my team figured out that we weren't going to enter the race, we did what any 18 year old guy from the midwest would do - we drove it out to field and beat on it until it died (which, by the way, took a surprising amount of abuse). Then we shot at it.

Don't worry, we cleaned up after ourselves .

I just love the way your car looks. Those colours work very well together. Tint would make it look even better, but it is still beautiful. Also, that is a lot of vehicles.
